  We had been thinking about some home improvements for a while and considered going with other contractors. One of these other contractors was Lowe’s and, when their sub-contractor came to the house to take measurements, his repetitive theme was how difficult his job was going to be because of the numerous challenges he faced due to the age (1954) of the house. Another local remodeler was unable to perform our window work but still provided an estimate that exceeded what we eventually paid to Charles Pappas by 16%. We decided to go with Charles Pappas because my sister had a good experience with them previously. When they came to take measurements, not a peep was heard about how difficult the job was going to be. We had some windows and entry doors replaced and had some flooring installed. Everyone we dealt with was professional and personable. We are very pleased with the work and feel it was very fairly-priced. We feel that Charles went beyond the norm to assist us in finding cost-savings. We are very happy that we chose Charles Pappas and recommend them without reservation.
